Shield with grip cut from solid, parallel sides with rounded ends, decoated with incised horizontal lines. Donated by Henry Balfour.
Artist Danie Mellor suggested that this shield is from the “Tully River-Ingham area possibly”, but Trish Barnard advises that this type of shield is typical of those made by groups around Townsville and undecorated (Henry 2013).
