Bark blanket made from natural bark beaten into a thin blanket, with cotton and design with natural ochre pigment decorating surface. ‘Usually made from Ficus sp. or Melaleuca sp., which appears to have been restricted to the northeast coast’ (Brayshaw; 102)
NB: Not clear exactly where along the long Tully River that this item was collected from.
